After much prayer and consideration I have accepted the Call to serve the Northern Illinois District as a Congregational Services Executive-Missionary.  Many people will see this as a promotion or me rising the ladder of success.  But that had nothing to do with my decision.  Someone once said, "find out what thing you would want to do even if you could do it for free and that is where your heart lies."  Well for me it is doing ministry in different and various forms.  Working with all types of people and congregations.  Trying to get them to catch a passion for the harvest.  That is what this new position is all about.  Helping people and congregations develop authentic relationships with God and with each other.  This also happens to be my personal mission statement.  Could any postition fit more perfectly?  No!  It had to be a God-thing.  God bless you all.
